THA PSO Services
The Tennessee Hospital Association PSO subcontracted ECRI/ISMP PSO to provide a secure web portal for data collection, event analysis, and event reports with comparison data at the facility, THA PSO, and ECRI/ISMP PSO aggregate level. In addition, members of the THA PSO have access to the following special services:
- THA PSO members may submit RCAs for detailed feedback and analysis of the RCA process by ECRI-ISMP PSO subject matter experts.
THA PSO members may submit questions or topics to ECRI-ISMP PSO analysts for a review of existing literature, guidelines, standards, and best practices. This resource is useful when updating a policy, considering a new procedure or type of equipment, or needing fresh ideas for resolving a persistent quality/safety challenge.
- ECRI/ISMP PSO offers monthly webinars and publishes monthly and quarterly advisories on a variety of risk management and patient safety/quality topics. The ECRI Institute PSO website houses archived webinars, publications, and non-identified Custom Research Responses.
Safe Tables provide a confidential environment in which representatives from PSO member organizations can convene and discuss key patient safety topics.
- Quarterly virtual calls for all THA PSO members on PSO news and services.
- Personalized support in establishing internal systems for PSO participation
- Safety event database with facility, THA PSO, and ECRI/ISMP PSO aggregate reports
- AHRQ Culture of Safety survey
