Addressing MRSA BSI and CLABSI: Evidence-Based Decolonization

Multi-drug resistant staphylococcus aureus continues to be a challenge in Tennessee hospitals. To support hospitals in reducing MRSA, the Tennessee Center for Patient Safety is hosting a webinar by nationally recognized expert, Dr. Susan Huang. Plan to attend this webinar, as Dr. Huang will describe the evidence for and implementation of chlorhexidine and nasal decolonization to reduce MRSA BSI and all-cause BSI, including CLABSI. She will briefly review key clinical trials supporting these practices and provide pearls, protocols, and training tools to jump start or re-invigorate implementation.
