Williamson Medical Center made brushing up on patient safety a lot of fun at their games-themed 2023 Patient Safety Fair in September. Over 200 staff attended the fair and enhanced their knowledge of correct site surgery with an Operation-themed station, reviewed workplace violence prevention practices at the Rock’em Sock’em Robots booth, and improved their awareness of other priority patient safety practices through Connect the Dots, Jenga, Match Games, and more. Sharon Gilliam, Director of Patient Safety & Quality, says there were many “great Aha! moments” and the fair was a great way to show how teams at the hospital work together to keep patients and staff safe.
