Introduction
TCPS continues to assist hospitals in sustaining successful CLABSI reduction in intensive care units (ICU). In 2014, ward reporting for CLABSI began, and the safety center promoted strategies to standardize central-line maintenance in addition to the existing Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute Comprehensive Unit-Based Safety Program (CUSP) CLABSI bundle guidelines. Best practice protocols were introduced to hospitals through presentations, webinars, and site visits.
