Many hospitals have developed hospital at home programs utilizing the state and federal flexibilities and waivers during the public health emergency.
Hospital at Home:
Hospital at Home is a model for delivering hospital-level care in the comfort of a person’s home. In the COVID-19 public health emergency, CMS supported this model through waivers and initiatives such as Hospitals Without Walls and Acute Care at Home.
