The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) released the Compendium of Strategies to Prevent Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) and Patient Guides.
These guides are provided free-of-charge and may be reproduced by facilities for distribution.
For facilities that wish to place their logos on the guides, please contact Valerie Deloney, vdeloney@shea-online.org. Upon request and approval, SHEA will provide a PSD file formatted for logo placement in the top right of the patient guides requested. Per SHEA, general guidelines for co-branding are as follows:
- Content of the guides cannot be changed
- Images on the guide cannot be changed or removed
- Sponsoring organizations logos cannot be removed
The guides are available in English with a standard or large print. They are also available in Spanish translation with large print only. SHEA has received suggestions for translations into other languages. They are investigating opportunities to do this in the future.
SHEA wants to thank each of you for the ongoing interest in these materials and your commitment to disseminate them for broad use with patients and families.
