To develop and deploy a comprehensive nurse staffing strategy which includes an electronic staffing, scheduling, system which provides real time staffing, financial and variance dashboards for frontline managers. Further the strategy included the establishment of an internal flexible staffing agency serving all 14 system facilities. The success of this project has prompted the expansion of HealthPro Staffing beyond acute care to areas such as PACU, Same Day Surgery, home health, and clinical informatics. Expansion of the scheduling system to RT, laboratory, admitting, and therapy departments.
