Project focus was to assess the current level of knowledge regarding Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and clinical research among nurses in a community based hospital. Specific strategies were to assess if the education level, experience, and clinical practice areas influenced this knowledge level in any way. Our hypothesis was that the nurses’ perception would be that they had a greater knowledge level than what they actually had. Results identified what the knowledge gaps were in order to plan educational activities.
