Behavioral Health Fall Reduction Initiative

In order to provide quality patient care in a safe environment, a strategic initiative was launched across the behavioral health service line to reduce patient falls. The strategic initiative was focused on developing new processes centered on evidence based best practices. The first step in the strategic initiative was to complete a comprehensive data analysis to identify trends. Once the data review was completed the team used PDSA as a process improvement tool to revamp the fall prevention program.

    
TCPS Launches PSO Services

Following approval by the THA board of directors, the Tennessee Center for Patient Safety (TCPS) is preparing to launch new patient safety organization (PSO) services.
